Punjab: 27 lakhs were cheated from 3 people in the name of sending abroad

Patiala Tripadi police station has filed a complaint against two immigration operator brothers, Chetan Goyal and Vansh Goyal, residents of Abchal Nagar, who committed fraud in the name of sending people abroad. Both run immigration centers near Gurudwara Sri Dukhnivaran Sahib. Satpal Singh, resident of Preetnagar, said that he paid Rs 25 lakh in installments to the accused to send his son Bhavpreet Singh to Canada on a work permit. The accused neither sent the son abroad nor returned the money.

In the second case 5, Ajit Singh, resident of Majithia Enclave, said that to send his son Guru Harjot Singh to Canada, he took a ticket from the accused by paying Rs 1 lakh 28 thousand, which later turned out to be fake. Whereas, in the third case, Raghuveer Singh, resident of 5 Gurdeep Colony, told that to send the girl abroad, he had got the ticket booked from the two accused by paying Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand.
