Jharkhand CM Soren has no relief from Supreme Court in ED summons case

The Supreme Court has referred Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case. The ED had issued summons to Soren on August 14, requesting him to record his statement at their Ranchi office. However, Soren sought relief against the summons, which the ED did not grant. As a result, the Supreme Court advised Soren Rahat to approach the High Court for further action.
In the ongoing investigation of the money laundering case, the ED had already questioned Soren on November 17. Additionally, the ED has made several arrests, including that of Pankaj Mishra, a close associate of Soren. It is important to note that the ED is currently investigating more than a dozen cases related to land scams in Jharkhand.
