The Jananayak Janata Party (JJP) has announced its intention to field candidates on 30 seats in the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections. However, the decision on forming an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be made after the official announcement of the elections. Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala made these statements during a press conference.
During the national and state executive meeting in Hisar, Dr. Ajay Chautala was elected as the national president of the JJP. Dushyant Chautala also mentioned that a significant rally will be organized in Sikar, Rajasthan on September 25th, which coincides with the birthday of former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhary Devi Lal.
The JJP believes that it has a strong presence in around 25 to 30 assembly seats in Rajasthan. Additionally, the party considers the division of the newly formed districts in Rajasthan to be crucial, as it plans to field its candidates in the assembly elections in those areas.
The JJP’s decision to contest on 30 seats in the Rajasthan Assembly elections showcases its determination to establish a strong political presence in the state. The party’s focus on district divisions and its intention to hold a significant rally indicate its strategic approach to garner support and expand its influence. As the elections approach, it will be interesting to see how the JJP’s plans unfold and whether an alliance with the BJP materializes.
